Accomplishments:

The Loyola Press Club saw its activities with the full support of the student members

The Inaugural ceremony was conducted on 16th September 2014. Thiru Balaji, Former Reporter Sports Section, The Deccan Chronicle presided over the function.

A Workshop on “Art of Writing” was conducted on 11th December 2014.

A Workshop on “Newstory Writing” was conducted on 12th February 2015 with Dr. Venkat Raj, President, Centre for Media and Public Affairs as the Resource person.

A Lecture on “Media and Its Responsibilities” was conducted on 13th February 2015. with Thiru. Bharathi Tamizhan, Editor, The Hindu Online (Tamil) as the Resource person.

“Investigative Journalism” was conducted on 19th February 2015, with Dr. Venkat Raj, President, Centre for Media and Public Affairs and Thiru. Ramesh, Editor, Eye Witness as the Resource Persons.

The Sterling Post is the highlight of the activities of the Loyola Press Club for the Academic year 2014-15.
